Joseph Solomon, former Guyana and West Indies player & Cricket Hall of famer, Class of 2018 Joseph Solomon was born on August 26, 1930, Port Mourant, Berbice, British Guiana (Guyana since 1966) passed away in USA at age of 93.

Dashing batsman joe Solomon represented the West Indies in 27 Test matches from 1958 to 1965, scoring 1,326 runs. Cricket fraternity will remember his historical / memorable play, When he pick-up and throw to run out Ian Meckiff to tie the test against Australia during 1960 at Gabba, Perth.
